Organize

5th  International Case  Study Conference

on

Re-imagining Digital India Shaping the future

of business

Objectives

In Management Education, case study methodology has been recognized as providing a valuable experience for students. Unlike traditional lecture-based teaching, The Case Method is an active learning method, which requires participation and involvement from the student in the classroom. Pioneered by Harvard Business School, the Pedagogy has been adopted by several business schools in India and abroad.

Case study has a huge relevance in management education today. Developing and writing cases is a complex process that requires extensive research. There is a dearth of cases with reference to Indian markets. We need more cases highlighting issues relevant in Indian context.

THEME:

India’s rising economy has earned it a place as one of the world’s indispensible emerging market.  The developments in digital technology of recent years are truly dramatic and their implications are far reaching. Digitization has fundamentally changed how companies do business. Enabled by data and technology, digital is a continuous form of disruption to business model, products, services and experiences. It has radically changed the way people consume content, communication and access products and services. All these changes have majorly contributed in shaping the future of most individuals, many business and governments. The rise in big data for decision making and influence that AI and robotics are having on decision making and jobs has a significant effect on the present and future of business.

The theme provides case writers an opportunity to portray to acknowledge the influence of digitization

in shaping the present and future of business in India.
